Is it good to add Google Adsense ads on your new blog?

When you create a new blog, the first thing you should ask yourself is: Is it a good idea to add Google Adsense ads to your new blog? When should you start adding ads on your blog?

This is a common question that blogger has after starting a new money making blog. In this guide, you’ll find plenty of insights into when and how you should start adding ads.

But first, answer this question:

Are you one of the budding bloggers who do not improve their blog and are skeptical about doing so?

In the early days of my blogging career, I didn’t get much use out of it adsense or any other advertising platform. Perhaps the reason so many of us stay away from monetizing our blogs is that we are protective of our image, and we fear being judged by our readers. Moreover, not many of us know How much money can one earn from adsense.

I was talking with one of my beginner blogger friends, and he told me that he has an approved adsense account, but he doesn’t put adsense ads on his blog.

  • I asked him: Why?
  • He answered me: Because it’s a new blog, and putting adsense on it might make my visitors think I’m blogging for money.
  • I also asked: So why did you apply to AdSense when you weren’t planning to monetize your blog?
  • He answered me: I will put ads when I have good traffic.
  • I ask him again: What difference does it make whether you monetize the blog now or later? Would readers’ perception be different at another time?

Our conversation went on for a while and they left behind the suspicion that many other bloggers share my friend’s feelings about advertising on a new blog.

My question remains, why are you waiting to improve your blog?

Making money from your blog doesn’t make you a less passionate blogger or a greedy blogger.

It is simply taking advantage of an opportunity to make money on one of your passions, and to develop your dreams. Ask yourself if this is a shameful thing.

If you have a blog that can be monetized, start monetizing it now. Chances are good that you won’t make more than $10-$100 a month, but at least you’ll make some money doing something you enjoy.

What are ads, and why advertise on your own blog?

When an ad that is related to your content and your blog’s topic is displayed, whether on the sidebar, on the header, or elsewhere, you are helping your readers by providing them with a place to get or buy a product they might be interested in.

For example, on one of my sites, I write extensively about WordPress and SEO and make money from it.

Read my opinions and personal experiences. Many of my readers are here because they love to read about my experiences with the various products I use and it is very likely that they would like to try these or related products.

They are reading my articles, after all, because they are interested in the major I am writing about. This is why I continue to put WordPress theme and host banners on the sidebars and headers of some of my articles.

When should you start using Adsense?

There is no right or wrong time to start monetizing your blog if you are interested.

And as long as you do it in a way that doesn’t impede the readability of your blog, there’s no reason why you can’t start investing as soon as you feel your blog is ready. Keep in mind that it is best to place only one or two ads on a page.
