how to delete instagram account

Login to your Instagram account
Go to your profile page
Click on the menu button icon in the top right corner.
Click edit profile.
Scroll down to the bottom and select temporarily disable my account.
Enter your instagram password.
Select a reason why you disabling your account in the dropdown menu.
Re-enter password and click temporarily disable account.
Temporarily disabling your account will hide your timeline, profile, and all posts on Instagram.
